Privacy notice

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Chieff is a private planner for one owner. This notice explains how its Google Calendar connection works.

Google data Chieff accesses

Chieff asks Google for the connected account's verified email address to confirm it is the configured owner's account. With the owner's consent, it reads the calendar list and events from calendars the owner selects. It requests read-only Calendar permissions.

How the data is used and stored

Chieff displays selected events in its Week planner beside tasks. It fetches events for the requested week when the planner loads or refreshes. It stores the Google OAuth connection tokens and selected calendar IDs on the private application server so it can renew access without asking the owner to copy tokens. It does not keep a separate copy of Calendar events or change Calendar data.

Access and sharing

The planner is reached through Cloudflare Access. Calendar information is displayed inside that protected application; these public information pages do not contain Calendar data. Chieff does not share Google Calendar events with the other apps listed here, sell Google user data, or use it for advertising.

Control

The owner can change the selected calendars in Chieff and can revoke Chieff's Google access in their Google Account connections. If access expires or is revoked, Chieff will ask the owner to reconnect before it can read events again.
